An investment in performing mortgage notes provides cash-flow without the responsibilities of being a landlord, as the investment is in the debt (backed by a lien on the property) and not the management of tenants, trash and termites. An investor in notes becomes the “lienlord” rather than the landlord!

Before founding QuadMac Investments, Don enjoyed a successful career as a sales executive in high-level technology sales and as an entrepreneur. In that capacity Don negotiated multi-million-dollar transactions and led teams of salespeople. In 2014 Don became involved with real estate (and real estate investing) as a profession by earning a Texas real estate license (TREC license #647566) and remains an active Realtor® today.

Don’s passion for real estate extends beyond buying, selling and investing. In 2016 he was elected as the first president of his community’s homeowner’s association, a position he served in until selling his home in 2021. He currently sits on several committees of his new community’s HOA.

In his spare time, Don enjoys investing in financial markets, spending time with his family, and is an avid fan of sports and music.
